MLK Day Celebration at Sequoia Middle School
January 15 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
The Shasta Birding Society will have a booth at the Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday celebration on Monday, January 15, at Sequoia Middle School in the cafeteria. The booths will be open from 10:00 to 10:45, then the program in the auditorium will last from 11:00 to 12:30. The booths will be open again from 12:30 to 1:30. A free lunch will be provided for everyone during this time frame. The march to the courthouse will begin afterwards. We will be showing people how to download and use Merlin on their cell phones, how to use
binoculars and bird guides, and giving out coloring pages and information about our organization. If you would like to volunteer to help at this event, please email Education Chair
