Turtle Bay Bird Sanctuary Bird Blind Work Day

Meet with members of the Shasta Birding Society for a Sunday afternoon of Environmental Stewardship at the bird blind on the Bird Sanctuary Trail. Park at the Monolith parking area.

We will work slowly and carefully digging out the crowns of invasive Himalayan blackberry while preserving any native plants growing in the area. Rain has softened the ground. 

We use hand tools only (no weed whackers). Please bring a pointed shovel, hoe or other weed puller tool, loppers and leather gloves.
