Return of the Salmon Festival 2014
The annual Return of the Salmon Festival has been celebrated at the hatchery since 1991 in an effort to increase outreach and visitor use. During this one day festival the third Saturday in October over 10,000 visitors are attracted to the hatchery. Many other organizations (Federal, State and private exhibitors) participate in this event with a wide array of information pertinent to natural resource issues. Wintu Audubon has a booth at the festival which runs from 9am until 4pm. You can see the poster here.
