We will return after an absence of several years to bird the always-rewarding Ash Creek that offers an excellent opportunity to observe Great Basin birds on a day trip. Sandhill Cranes will be raising young and there is a chance of seeing Sage Grouse. Other good finds may include Loggerhead Shrike, Golden Eagle, and Barn and Great-horned Owls. Located just east of Beiber on Hwy. 299E it may be cool so bring warm clothes, lunch, and water. We will return in late afternoon. We will car pool from the parking lot on the south side of the Redding Civic Auditorium.
